Description
Nawmite Concept
Bug/Ground Type
Nawmite possesses tiny incisor-like pincers that are surprisingly powerful. Though small, it can lift several times its own body weight. They go about underground constructing incredible tunnels after consuming the loose sediment before them. As such, many gardeners welcome them into their fields to promote healthier plants. Its bite is excruciatingly painful though non venomous.
Evolves into Bormori at Lv. 10 and again into Termound at Lv. 23.
I was attempting to make a termite based bug fakemon. I took inspirations from the silkworm, mayfly, and several ant species. This is the basic stage which will eventually evolve into Bormori and then Termound. Nawmite's head is loosely based on a hardhat and the reasoning for its strange lower body shape is actually inspired by the undulating movement of grubs which sort of look like accordians.

If you're gonna make a termite fakemon you should make it more apparent that it is blind. Unless that aspect of termites is lost to the wind.
